Presented by the Knights of Columbus Council 13479 at Prince of Peace Catholic Community

For the past 10 years, our very own Knights of Columbus Council 13479 has been honored to serve pilgrims walking to the Santuario de Chimayó Shrine by setting up a Comfort Station along their path on Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

This deeply spiritual tradition has grown in both size and significance, drawing the attention of local media, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department, and the Fire Department- each recognizing the importance of this act of service and faith.

Our Comfort Station offers:

  • A place to rest and recharge

  • Snacks, water, and hot coffee for weary travelers

  • Most importantly, the opportunity for Reconciliation with one of four attending priests

Whether you're walking the pilgrimage or simply want to support this powerful ministry, we invite you to be part of it. The Comfort Station will be set up starting at Noon on Holy Thursday, and take-down will begin at Noon on Good Friday.

Come witness the power of faith, service, and community. Let us continue to be a beacon of Christ’s love for all who pass by.

Thank you for helping make this beautiful tradition possible.
